How to Place Vector Art in Microsoft Word 2003

    • 1). Open a Word 2003 document.

    • 2). Place the cursor where you want the vector art.

    • 3). Select "Insert," "Picture," then "From File" from the main menu to open a browser window.

    • 4). Go to the vector art file you want to insert. If you open the correct directory and cannot locate the file you want, use the "File Type" drop-down menu to find the file format you want. The dialog will only show files of that type.

    • 5). Select the file and click the "Insert" button. You will see the vector art in the Word file.
