Whiten My Teeth - Various Tips

When it comes to teeth whitening, there are of course a number of ways to go about doing it.
When trying to whiten my teeth I usually go with the most popular options, and those options usually get the job done.
Well, at least one of the options does, as I don't try every single one of them simultaneously.
So let's have a look at the different methods available to whiten my teeth! First of all there is gel bleaching.
There are two types, high concentration gel bleaching and low concentration bleaching.
You can either do this at home or you can visit the dentist.
It will be much cheaper to do it at home however, which is how I would choose to whiten my teeth.
Application trays are filled with the gel and then applied to the teeth.
The procedure takes approximately twenty minutes and then the trays are removed.
After that the procedure is repeated about two more times until the teeth show signs of whitening.
Bleaching is also something I have used to whiten my teeth.
The only problem with bleaching is that it only works under certain conditions.
If you have gray teeth, or stains on your teeth, then the bleaching will more than likely fail.
Bleaching would only whiten my teeth if they were simply yellow and discolored.
If you want to go high tech, laser bleaching is always an option.
It is a way to speed up the bleaching process, and there are many different types of energy that can be used.
Make sure that your dentist is using an argon laser instead of an arc lamp because the argon laser does not emit UV rays.
The best part about laser bleaching is that you won't end up with any chemical burns in the way that you would with gel bleaching.
This procedure can normally be completed within one hour, though it might take more if your teeth are in very bad shape.
Whitening strips are the next most popular choice out there.
These are adhesive strips that you would apply to your teeth, and they perform the same job as a tooth bleaching would.
These do not color the outside of the teeth, instead they focus on the enamel within.
The outer coat of your teeth is transparent, and the interior enamel is what really matters.
While working with the exterior of the tooth wouldn't really help, a more permanent change can be affected with the right white strips.
Keeping your teeth healthy is important, and keeping them the right color will help you to feel more confident in public.
Believe me, I always feel a lot better when I whiten my teeth! So give it a try today and see how it goes!
