- Kaiser Permanente allows members to access their medical records and more via Kaiser's online interface for members--KP Web. Kaiser members can go to members.kaiserpermanente.org to login. If you don't have a login and password, you can register online or call Kaiser Member Services.
Online access also allows Kaiser members to schedule appointments, e-mail their physicians and nurses, check on lab results, and view their membership and account statuses. - For members wanting to share or transfer their records to a third party, such as another physician, hospital, or attorney, Kaiser requires a written disclosure release. Members can find the appropriate forms by selecting "forms and publications" under the "Locate our services" tab on the members.kaiserpemanente.org site.
The downloadable forms contain instructions on how to complete them and where to send them. These details vary by state, and in California, by region. - Kaiser Member Services try to give patients an easy access point. Members should be able to call a customer service representative at Member Services who can also send the correct forms or assist with any questions about them. The number to your region's Member Services can be found by going to www.kp.org, selecting your region, and then selecting "Contact Member Services" under the "Locate our services" tab.
These forms and procedures should not be necessary when getting treatment within the Kaiser Permanente system. Kaiser's medical records are completely computerized and are shared electronically among doctors, nurses, and pharmacists within Kaiser.
