There are many tips out there in properly crate train a dog.
Why do we need to train our dogs to use a crate? Simple, we need them to be comfortable when we are away from the house and they are the one left.
Also, this is a great way for them to know which part of the house is theirs and which are not.
Crate training a dog in his early years will make him know that the house is not all his.
Initial training of your dog crate will make him feel upset.
If this happen, be sure to not take him out.
Why? So that he will know that making an irritating gestures will not make him free from the crate.
This will only teach him that making a fuss is a good way to get attention by making a fuss.
This is the very last thing you want! Wait until he has been quiet for at least 5 minutes before letting him out of the crate.
Then you can greet him with a lot of praise and perhaps a treat to assure him he did it right.
At first, try to leave your puppy in the crate for short periods of time, perhaps an hour or two, and gradually increase the length of time to match a full night of sleep or a full day working.
If you crate train your dog properly, you'll be able to be certain you dog doesn't get too noisy, destructive, or anxious when you're not there.
A puppy, of course, will also adapt more quickly to crate training than will an older dog, which means it will be less stressful for everyone in the house.
