The major reason why many bodybuilders are not able to train intensely for long is because they usually end up feeling very fatigued.
Therefore in order to prolong the feeling of fatigue you need to ensure that your diet contains plenty of complex carbohydrates.
The other food which contains plenty of calories is proteins.
If you can recall your biology properly proteins are the building blocks of muscles.
When struggling to gain weight you need to focus on increasing your body muscles and not your body fat, with this in mind then it is very important that you rev up your intake of proteins.
You should be very choosy when selecting the type of protein to include in your diet because proteins normally come together with fat.
The best protein to take if you want to increase your weight is lean beef because they contain very low fat content.
The second step to take in order to gain weight is to start weight training.
As explained earlier you need to focus on increasing your body muscles and not your body fat and that is why you need to train using weights.
You cannot be able to increase your body muscles if you ignore your strength training otherwise known as weight training.
The third step is to rest properly both at night when sleeping and also between workouts.
Resting is very important since it prevents catabolism from taking place.
