Article marketing has two main strategies of increasing profits that you need to consider.
The first strategy is to write articles and promote them in order to generate back links for search engine optimization.
The second strategy is to write articles and promote them to increase and direct traffic to your website or squeeze page.
Whichever strategy you are trying to achieve, they will be similar in action, and in fact, will probably overlap.
So if you spend a lot of your efforts on one strategy, it is inevitable that you will partially achieve the second strategy too.
Now, in order to move your website up in the search engine rankings, it is important for you to create back links.
The more back links you create, the better chance you have of moving up the search engines.
And we all know how important it is to be located within the top 10 positions of any particular niche or keyword.
Before I go any further, there are other methods of generating back links which you are probably aware of.
These include website submissions to Web directories using link exchanges, buying links from link sellers and asking for reciprocal link exchanges with other website owners.
These methods do of course work, but none is as effective as writing articles.
If you create massive numbers of articles, submit them to web directories and article directories, you can achieve massive back links, which will, in turn, increase your website sales.
Writing articles is also very cost-effective and is easy to learn.
So, how do you do it? Well, set aside some time on a daily basis to write your articles.
A good number to aim for is 3.
Can you generate 3 articles per day? If you could do this, and you could do this for a three-month period, you may be overwhelmed at the response that you generate and the traffic that comes into your website.
You will also notice a massive improvement in back links as your articles are downloaded by other website owners and read by surfers.
Your articles should be no more than 450 words in length or a minimum of 350 words.
It is very important that your article is structured correctly and that you include a resource box at the end of each article.
This resource box will contain a link to your website, giving your reader the opportunity to visit your website for additional information or give them the opportunity to purchase any one of your products.
If you start to generate 3 articles per day, it is vitally important that you begin to monitor the number of people who visit your website.
Monitor the number of links created to your website and also monitor the number of people reading your articles.
That way, you can manipulate your success by either increasing or decreasing the number of articles you produce.
Writing articles to achieve massive back links is the best way to go.
