- 1). Open "World of Warcraft," enter your login information and click "Enter World" with the character of your choice.
- 2). Travel to a major city in Azeroth, the Outland or Northrend. You cannot join the Trade channel unless you enter a major city.
- 3). Bring up the chat box by pressing "Enter." Type "/join trade" without quotation marks. You will see "Join Channel [Trade]" appear in the chat box. A number will appear next to "Trade." Press "Enter" and type "/X" where X is the number that appears next to trade chat. The channel will automatically switch to "Trade."
