How to Blog Ethically - Discover How To Avoid The Pitfalls

If you are a blogger, or just starting out on your first blob, then you need to be aware of the code of ethics.
Generally speaking the majority of bloggers out there do have a code of ethics, not all, but certainly most.
This set of loose standards has established itself from a new medium to a more robust framework for blogging.
In is very important that you practice honesty and truth-telling on your blog and posts.
The main idea about blogging initially was to have a form of an online diary, just like any other diary you have to be transparent and truthful in what you write.
You want to communicate openly and honestly, dealing with your topic and ideas and interacting with your readers.
Don't get me wrong the idea of honesty doesn't mean that you have to giveaway all your personal information or anything for that matter that makes you uncomfortable disclosing online.
No one is perfect and it is human nature that we will make mistakes.
This is true when it comes to your blog.
So for example if you post about something that you have heard which in turn is not true, and the your post turns into this rant of anger.
You need to then think about it after and admit that you have made a mistake.
The same laws apply in the real world as they do in the blogging world.
If something made you angry at work or at the store and you launched into a tirade of abuse for example then I am sure that you would eat your own words after and apologise.
It is exactly the same with your blog.
You need to maintain a dialogue with your readers.
This may sound simple, but there are so many blogs out there cluttering up cyberspace that are blogs that someone ahs started then not bothered with after a while.
If you really wish to take blogging seriously, then you must take your readers seriously to.
Be responsive to your readers comments, you can create good friendships via a blog as well.
After if you are posting about a subject that you are passionate it then it stands to reason you are going to get like minded people coming to your blog, so you have something instantly in common.
At the bottom of it all it is all about having meaningful interaction, with real people talking to each other about issues that interest them.
If you follow this outline when starting out and learn to respect your visitors then you will be doing a lot more than a lot of the blogs out there on the internet.
