John explains to Nora that Hannah wanted to make a deal with him and in return she’d tell him the truth. Nora tells him that she can’t make a deal. Meanwhile in the interrogation room Hannah threatens to tell the truth but Eli threatens Cole’s life if she doesn’t stay quiet. He knows he’d get away with killing Cole because nobody would suspect him. Hannah tells Eli she’d do anything for Cole. John, Marty and Nora go in to see Hannah only to find her rambling on the floor.

Marty attempts to talk to her. Hannah tells her that she pushed her down the stairs and hit Ford. Everyone thinks she can’t stand trial and Eli recommends that she gets put into St. Anne’s. John tries to talk to her but she tells him that she lied about telling him that she didn’t do it. John has his suspicions.

Cris and Layla find Evangeline in the hospital bed in a very poor state. When Layla asks her mother what is wrong with her, her mother’s in deniable and tells her that she only has an infection and that she’d be home in a few days. Cristian and Layla find the doctor and ask her what’s wrong. The doctor tells them that Evangeline is on a ventilator and can’t breathe on her own. Layla is being forced to make a decision about her sister’s condition. Her mother says some hurtful things and believes she is going to take Evangeline home with her. Cris promises to support Layla through it. Starr goes to visit James just as Ford is. Cole stands in the background and overhears James’ calling her “twinkle” and notices Ford.

Starr explains that James and Ford and brothers. James and Starr say their goodbyes but before she goes James tells her that when you shoot a guy you will owe them down the line. Ford warns Cole about Hannah. After they leave Ford warns his brother to stay away from Starr. Ford explains to his brother that he was always going to come back for him. He informs him that their father has been arrested. Ford reassures James that they are together now and that’s all that matters. Cole grows suspicious of Starr’s closeness to James.

Todd runs into Blair at the hospital and he explains that Hannah confessed that Todd didn’t push Marty. Blair apologizes to Todd for not believing in him. She later tells him that Eli proposed. Todd asks if she loves him and she says yes. Todd pushes her to take the opportunity. Blair thanks Todd for helping her decide and she leaves a message for Elijah that she’s ready to tell him her decision.
