There are many occasions in our lives that we want to commemorate in pictures but nothing that can compare to the birth of a child.
All the excitement, the preparation and the months of morning sickness and waiting is forgotten the moment you hold that precious bundle of joy in your arms and you want to remember that moment forever.
But, somehow it seems that placing a picture of that newborn in an ordinary frame isn't quite right so parents, grandparents and even friends are eager to purchase a special baby picture frame for the new arrival.
With so many different and adorable baby picture frames to choose from it isn't difficult to find something unique and totally suited to a particular family.
One type of baby photo frame that is increasing in popularity is the frame that holds a photo of the newborn and the ultra sound picture, kind of a before and after picture of the birth as you will.
Then of course there are a number of "mom and me", "Dad and me" picture frames as well as "grandma and me" and Grandpa and me" picture frames.
You get the idea.
Not only does everyone in the family want a picture of the new baby but they also want to have of picture of them holding that precious new addition.
You also have a choice of choosing a baby picture frame that hangs on the wall or sits on a stand or mantel.
All of these picture frames are cute as a bug in a rug and the perfect accompaniment to that beautiful boy or girl.
But what happens if the baby isn't a baby at all but rather two of them? Not to worry, you can either buy two identical baby frames or two different frames or simply get a single picture frame that is designed for twins and even announces this remarkable addition to the family.
After all, they arrived more or less together, their first picture should be of the two of them together.
Of course, when you purchase one of the frames that displays the first year of the babies' life you will want to get two of those frames so you can record your children's remarkable changes separately.
That way when they grow up they will each have their own separate pictures as well as pictures of the two of them together.
Unfortunately, if you have triplets, finding a triple photo frame may not be so easy, you will either have to modify a baby frame to express the arrival of triplets or settle for separate frames for each one.
In such an event, choosing a hinged multi-frame that has three frames connected might be your best bet.
Should you happen to have quads you might want to consider giving up on the idea of a baby frame all together and simply go with a collage photo frame.
