Well this can cause you to become frustrated and want to quit.
Be patient because there will come that moment of clarity where things will come together the way they should.
Here is my personal story and I hope this helps you to realize that we all have successes and failures.

Yes there are some books that will help you learn a variety of topics such as squeeze pages, FTP, sales pages and setting up a website.
If you are new to the Internet most of these if not all are invaluable to your business.
Here is one of the things I think that is important to your success.
Getting help, the right kind of help.
Find someone who is really interested in seeing you succeed on the Internet.
You can tell if they are really sincere in helping you by offering you key tips, not just selling you something new.
Find a mentor, now you can spend a lot of of money on mentoring, but there are some who are very inexpensive.
Personally I have a group that I depend on for support and tips to grow my business.
Reading articles and blogs and social networking also will give you much needed information.
Still think it is time to quit? What can I tell you that you haven't already read in an article or blog.
I can tell you from my experience that I wondered if I was going to make things work and learn enough to make my business a success.
The answer is yes, am I still learning absolutely and you will too.
no matter what business you are in you are always learning, new things come along that you will have to learn in order to compete.
You just have to give it time and learn to be patient.
I don't know of anyone who got noticed by Google on their first day.
Yes there are some who are indexed faster because they have more sites and more links which helps your site to get noticed.
But the bottom line is if you are just starting out you need to take baby steps sometimes and acquire knowledge and obtain little successes along the way.
My little successes were uplifting to me.
My first article getting published, the next getting an email from someone who enjoyed reading my article.
My first paycheck was also a milestone.
You have to achieve your own little milestone as well.
Set little goals for the day and achieve each one.
If you find yourself becoming a little dishearten remember a lot of us has been there, do not let yourself become discouraged and continue to press forward.
So do not quit and most of all do not listen to any negative comments from well intended family or friends.
Keep telling yourself you can succeed and you will.
Many have had great success and they experienced doubts as well.
As for me I still strive for more success and enjoy learning every step of the way.
