Your wedding is only days away. Most of the planning is done. You've had your bachelor and bachelorette parties. Now there are just a few more things that you need to take care of to make sure your big day, and your honeymoon, go off without a hitch. - Whether you have scheduled a friend, family member or rental car to take you to the airport, make sure that they know what time to pick you up and what time you need to be at the airport. Verify all your airline and hotel confirmations, and notify them now if there have been any schedule changes.
- Give your guest book and pen to someone to drop off at the reception site before everyone arrives. Write a note thanking guests for coming and asking them to sign the book. If there are any other items that need to be delivered, including favors or decorations, also give them to this person and make sure that the caterer will set them out.
- Make sure your wedding announcements are written and give them to the maid of honor or best man to send off to the newspapers while you are on your honeymoon.
- Brides, put your dress, shoes and accessories in an easy-to-access place so that they are ready to go the day of the wedding. Put together an emergency kit for the wedding day that includes aspirin, tampons, deodorant, safety pins and anything else you think you may need.
- Rehearse with your officiant and the wedding parties. Once everyone knows where they need to stand and the order of the ceremony, all that is left to do is have a good time and do some celebrating with your friends and family the night before at the rehearsal dinner.
- Confirm with all of the people who will be giving toasts to make sure that they have their speeches ready.
- If your wedding is in the morning, go to bed early the night before and set several alarms to make sure you are up in time.
