When it comes to your body, the confidence to flaunt it comes from a well-toned and good physique.
Men toil hard to get the look and body they want - but they end up with an average body and build.
The Reason? It's simple; they lack proper and correct understanding of their body and badly planned exercise routines lead to old-fashioned and monotonous workout.
Once your body gets used to a to a particular format of training it stops responding.
So, for every result oriented workout, divide your time and always try and throw a new exercise in every now and then to make sure you don't let your body get too used to the same exercises.
This results in increased strength gain and fat burning.
You need to work each of the muscles - the upper, middle and your lower chest.
Initially, start with a less strenuous routine.
After all, you wouldn't like to end up with sore muscles and over exhaustion as this can result in losing all your hard work due to being unable to carry out you workout.
Bench press, pushups, dumbbells and their various derivatives help you to get toned chest muscle.
But to choose which exercise is best for you, you need to understand the chest anatomy i.
e.
there is a large fan shaped muscle called pectoralis that covers the entire chest area.
For your upper chest take up the incline barbell press, incline dumbbell press and incline flyes.
They help you build strength, however make sure that someone is there to 'spot' you.
This means that someone is there in case you need help to lift a weight off you.
Similarly, for your middle chest workout, you may choose from flat dumbbell press, flat dumbbell flyes, cable and push-ups.
Again you need to be cautious that you do not over exert yourself.
Start with 2 to 3 repetitions and the increase gradually.
Now for your lower chest you have decline barbell press, decline dumbbell press and decline flyes.
While exercising ensure to maintain a proper work and rest balance so that your muscles get enough rest before you start working them again.
This way you don't strain them, yet you get them into the shape you need.
