A: NY Marathoners run through all five boroughs. However, participants who finish the New York City Marathon spend more of their racing miles in Brooklyn than any other borough. The ING New York City Marathon is a 26.2 mile race. Of that, miles 3 to 13 are in Brooklyn.

Not that Brooklyn's competing with Manhattan or anything...

But fair's fair. So, under the circumstances, shouldn't it be called the Brooklyn Marathon?
