For some that wish to hit the gym, the goal is not to just build mass.
They will want to build mass fast.
Such a goal is understandable.
Why would someone not want to take the steps to enhance their mass growth? Such a move is a wise one but wanting to take the steps and actually being able to do so are two completely different things.
Now, you can increase the time-frame in which you can build mass but you will need to follow a logical exercise program that boosts the likelihood this occurs.
First and foremost, you will not pack on 10 lb of muscle in a weak.
Many that wish to build mass fast will embody such unrealistic expectations and doing so is an error.
You will want your mass building process to be a logical one that speeds up the ability to build mass in a realistic manner.
The key to being able to build mass fast will revolve around taking the simplest first step.
This would be to increase your calorie intake by about 300 to 400 each day.
These extra calories cannot come in the form of slop weight.
You will want to eat healthy, organic good with an emphasis on lean protein and quality carbs.
You will want to keep the amount of additional fat you eat to a minimum.
Compound exercises with a heavy amount of weight would be the core of the actual weightlifting needed to pack on mass.
Isolation exercises and moderate amounts of weight will definitely not add on muscle mass quickly.
You will also need to greatly change your workout program to meet the goals of being able to build mass fast.
If you follow the same workout program in the gym day in and day out you won't see much in terms of any changes because you have not altered your routine.
Instead of performing the same workout program, you will need to change it to a more advanced one.
This can be done by adding more challenging workout concepts to the mix such as pre-exhaust training where isolation exercises are performed to failure and then compound exercises right afterward; split training which would entail working out in the morning and in the evening; compound sets which entail connected four exercises to be performed one after the other and with no rest between exercises; and so on.
The ways to build mass fast are not that tough.
You just need a basic idea of what is needed to add mass and enact it.
