Why You Should Treat Your Sensitive Skin With Natural Organic Products

One of the big issues with sensitive skin is that putting skin care products on your skin can be painful, it can cause unwanted side effects.
Most of the time this is from additives, chemicals, stabilizers and other synthetic ingredients.
A good friend of mine has always had very sensitive skin.
She in her 50's now and has been dealing with skin sensitivity her whole life.
She has psoriasis, dry skin, rosacea and is allergic to almost all commercial products she has tried.
She had almost no positive results in controlling negative effects on her sensitive skin.
This is a very difficult issue for her to deal with in her life.
It causes an unsightly look and she is embarrassed, her self esteem has been effected as well as her confidence.
I asked her one day who she had been consulting about her options for protecting and treating her skin conditions.
She told me she had asked her doctor and had been to an esthetician, both had directed her to commercial synthetic ingredient based products.
Neither discussed her diet and nutritional intake.
What my friend was not getting, was any information about alternative therapies, food choices and how botanically based organic products can be the best choice for sensitive skin.
Pure chemical and synthetic ingredient free organic products are generally gentle to the skin and are antioxidant rich.
You do have to experiment because everyone's skin is different and anyone can be allergic to any specific natural compound.
Another aspect of supporting sensitive skin starts inside your body.
Your immune system and your over all health has a lot to do with the health and vibrancy of your skin.
The quality and combination of nutrition in the food you eat will show your looks.
Many people have sensitive skin but not all people all born with sensitive skin.
You can develop sensitive skin due to a bad diet or the wrong food choices.
Food high in sugar and high fructose corn syrup, saturated fats, too much refined foods and foods with a lot of chemical additives can contribute to unhealthy skin.
These foods can also cause you to be far more sensitive to the sun and to environmental toxins.
It has a lot to do with to many free radicals attacking your cells and a lack of antioxidants in your body and on your skin.
To sum up this review of why you should treat yourself with natural organic products, lets just say that nature knows best when it comes to our health.
Synthetic chemical based products are not good for your skin and most often are included in skin care products for shelf life, scent and color.
The consequences are felt by you the consumer in your over all health and the look and vibrancy of your skin.
What you put on your skin does effect your whole body's health.
By the way, the friend I told you about did change her food choices and she switched to exclusively using high quality natural skin care products.
Her skin conditions have improved and she is feeling so much better about herself.
She can even get some sun on her skin without immediately burning and she does not feel her skin is so vulnerable and sensitive any more.
She now has more confidence and self esteem and realizes she can take control over her own health by being pro active using natural organic products on her skin and in her food choices.
If you are some one who cares about what you put into your body and you want to be naturally as healthy as you can be, then the same thing goes for your skin.
In my opinion using natural organic skin care products for sensitive skin in a no brainer.
