Most people, especially women are overly conscious of how they look. This is why once when women reach the age of 30, they start worrying about the appearance of skin aging signs on their face, such as wrinkles, fine lines and dark spots. Women are beauty fanatics and will do everything, even spend thousands of dollars on various creams and treatments just to preserve the youthfulness of their skin. Well, these treatments and products do work and they do give quite immediate results, but let's face it, not everyone has that kind of money to splurge. Luckily, you can slow down the appearance of skin aging signs on your face without burning a hole in your pocket. Let me share to you some homemade anti aging solutions that have been tried, tested and proven to work
1. Place two slices of raw potato on top of your lids, with your eyes closed of course. As for the rest of your face, finely grate a potato and apply it to your face. Leave this mask on for at least thirty minutes and rinse well with lukewarm water afterwards. Aside from being an effective anti aging solution, potatoes are effective in removing dark circles under the eyes.
2. Mash a ripe papaya and apply it to your face as a mask. Let it sit for about thirty minutes or so then rinse it with lukewarm water. Aside from its anti aging properties, papayas are effective in whitening and clearing out blemishes as well.
3. Apply the milk of a raw grated coconut on your face for that youthful glowing effect. Let it sit for 30 minutes then rinse. Only use the milk of freshly grated coconuts. Avoid using canned coconut milk because this has added preservatives which decreases its anti aging effect. You can also use virgin coconut oil as an alternative. When using virgin coconut oil, there's no need to wash it off after because it serves as a natural moisturizer.
4. Mash a ripe avocado and apply it to your face as a mask. As usual, let it sit for thirty minutes then rinse with lukewarm water. Avocados are rich in antioxidants which helps rejuvenate the skin.
5. Hate wrinkles? Finely grate a pineapple core (the hard part of the pineapple found in the middle) and apply it to your face. Pineapples are rich in vitamin C and antioxidants which are effective in keeping wrinkles at bay.
6. Instead of using alcohol based toners after washing the face, use lemon juice instead. Lemon juice is known to be effective in removing blemishes and brown spots caused by prolonged exposure to the sun.
7. Apply beaten egg white all over your face. One egg white would suffice. Let it sit for about thirty minutes or until you feel the egg white harden. Rinse it off with lukewarm water after.
