The Old Apple Tree in Winter.

If you live where it snows, you really need structure in your garden to get winter interest. Joan Blackett sent in this photo of her old apple tree dusted with snow. You can't really tell where the garden is under this snow, but the snow topped arbor and the sweeping, frosted branches of the apple tree create a scene of their own.
