- 1). Check online auction sites. eBay, arguably one of the world's largest sites, is a popular shoice. Go to the main page and enter in "Damageplan" in the search engine on the main page; this will give you a list of categorized offerings from sellers that you can browse through. Click on the category "Music Memorabilia."
- 2). Browse through offerings of autographs from the band. This will give you an idea of what you can sell the drumhead for and perhaps what final price you can expect. If you don't already have an account, click "Sign Up" at the top of the page and follow the steps to register for your free account and to sell the item. Note that eBay will require you to have a credit card or debit card on file so that they may charge their final selling fees, which vary according to the final sale price.
- 3). Create a free account on Craigslist.org, a website that works much like the classifieds in your local paper. You'll only be able to sell the drumhead locally, and will there are no additional fees associated with selling, but it's up to you and potential buyers to arrange face-to-face meetings for payment.
- 4). Set up a table at a local flea market. There may be a fee associated with doing so, so consider selling the drumhead at another seller's table who sells rock or music merchandise. While you may have to give a small portion of the final sale price to the table owner, this will be cheaper than reserving a table yourself, especially if the drumhead is the only item you plan on selling.
