Affiliate Marketing Beginners - 5 Steps to Build Customer Traffic With a Killer Article

Affiliate marketing beginners should know the sheer power of building customer traffic with one, good killer article.
Yet not enough use this super traffic building tactic because they are afraid to write, or don't know how to write.
Here we'll look at how to quickly and painlessly put together a killer article to give that needed push to your affiliate campaign in five simple steps.
What you will need:
  • a dozen or so good affiliate article ideas (free)
  • a text editor such as Notepad (free)
  • accounts at the top five or six article directories (free)
  • your brain (also free)
Step one: You need a great idea To write a killer article for your affiliate campaign, you start with a killer idea.
The easiest place to find ideas is on the niche forums.
There you find people asking questions...
and other people suggesting solutions.
Right there you have the basis of an article that puts a question and suggests an answer.
Spend time in the forums and listen out for great article ideas.
Tip: Affiliate marketing beginners should spend time in forums anyway.
You need the education! Step two: Outline your article in tip form One great, killer article structure is the "tips" or "how-to" format.
People love to learn how to do things in simple, step-by-step form.
So, try organizing your article as "3 Tips to Do X", or "How to Do X in 3 Steps".
Keep your outline brief.
You are aiming for not more than a total article length of around 500 words.
Too short, and you will provide insufficient info.
Too long, and people won't read you.
Try to keep to 400-600 words.
Step 3: How to flesh out your article Having made your outline, now flesh out each point or each tip with two or three lines of clear, concise text.
Stick to the facts, and provide the reader with good "meat".
Try to be a little personal, but don't get off the track.
Good spelling and grammar are not important -they are essential.
Though you are not striving for perfection, your killer article will slay no one if it is poorly written.
Step 4: Finish it off Write a brief intro and a brief conclusion to finish off your article.
The intro raises the question you are asking, and promises the reader a brief solution.
The conclusion ends the article by referring to the article topic and stressing the benefits of the solution you have offered.
Most importantly, the conclusion should lead the reader to your resource box, where you promise more information of value to the reader.
Your resource box should be short, concise, and stress the value to the reader of clicking on that all important affiliate link.
It's a great source of good quality customer traffic.
(Tip: Use a top level domain here- article directories hate affiliate links!) Step 5: Where to publish Publish ONLY in the top five or six article directories.
Very few directories pull much traffic anyway, so don't bother spamming the web with your work.
Bonus tip: Rinse and repeat steps 1-5 over and over.
Articles are one of the best ways to build your presence on the web.
Not only can they bring you targeted customer traffic in the short term, but they can give your reputation and authority a massive boost.
So, publish often! Every week, write a few short articles according to the plan I have outlined, and publish to the top directories.
In a year you can easily get out 150-200 articles, all spreading your name and your links all over the web.
And that's all there is to it: five quick, simple steps for affiliate marketing beginners to build steady, targeted customer traffic with a killer article.
