- 1). Click the "Figures" tab and select your model. It loads into the preview window.
- 2). Choose a preset pose that is close to the one you want. Select "poses" from the "categories" tab. Navigate to your pose and double-click on the picture.
- 3). Turn on "Use inverse kinematics." This command sets realistic limits on joint movement. Select "figure" and "Use inverse kinematics." Both legs should have check marks. Select both arms to set joint limitations.
- 4). Pose the large body parts first. Select "Figure 1," "Body parts" and "abdomen." From "Parameter dials," adjust "Twist," "Side-side" and "Bend." Repeat for the hip and chest. Fine-tune your pose, moving from the body's torso outward.
- 5). Select "Poses" and double-click on a pose folder. Select "+ Add to Library" and name your new pose.
- 1). Click the "People" tab and select "Genesis." With this model you can create male and female figures.
- 2). Choose "Pose & animate." Click "Presets" then "Genesis" from the sidebar. This opens poses specially designed for the Genesis figure.
- 3). Select "Pose & animate," "Editor" and "Pose controls." Adjust slider for "Waist bend," "Waist side-side" and "Waist twist." Repeat for hips, arms and torso. Click on the smaller parts like hands in the workspace window. The "Pose control" menu changes, listing hand posing modifiers.
- 4). Select "File," "Save as" and "Pose preset" to save your new pose.
