- 1). Rinse the DivaCup in warm water and with hand soap. This is the recommended method for regular daily cleaning, but more is needed to completely sterilize the DivaCup.
- 2). Cleanse the DivaCup with DivaWash, a pH-balanced product designed specifically for cleaning the DivaCup. Submerge the DivaCup into the DivaWash solution until it is clean.
- 3). Boil some water. Submerge the DivaCup in the boiling water for 20 minutes. Make sure to keep a close eye on the pot. The silicone material of the DivaCup is designed so that it can maintain its shape after boiling.
- 4). Place the DivaCup in the drawstring cotton pouch that came with it after it has been sterilized. The pouch provides air flow, which is necessary for keeping the DivaCup sterile. If the DivaCup is enclosed in a container it may become moist, which leads to bacteria buildup.
