    • The Bombay Club is an Indian restaurant that prides itself on casual elegance, according to its website. It is a fine dining restaurant that has attracted the likes of past presidents, ambassadors and movie stars. Food & Wine, U.S.A. Today and Esquire Magazine have all given The Bombay Club acclaim. It has also been noted as a Distinguished Restaurant of North America winner multiple times since 1996.

      The menu offers appetizers like Malabari shrimp, calamari balchao, spicy duck kebab, mango fish tikka and corn mushroom samosa. Entrees include adraki lamb chops, a seafood grill, chile chicken chops, Bombay thali, goa fish curry, snapper pulusu, lemon rice with cashews and a variety of vegetarian dishes. These can all be paired with a glass of wine or a cocktail, both of which can also be enjoyed alone in the restaurants lounge.

    Mehak

    • Mehak, which is Indian for "aroma," is a casual fine dining restaurant located in Chinatown. It specializes in serving Indian tandoori and Mughlai plates in addition to a weekend brunch. Private parties can reserve the secluded dining room.

      Appetizers here include tandoori wings, vegetable samosa, salmon pakora, chicken tikka and chat-papri. Tomato soup and kachumber salad also make an appearance. The menu also features entrees such as chicken curry, chicken vindaloo, lamb masala, sheesh kabab, shrimp biryani, salmon curry and okra masala. For desert, Mehak offers rice pudding and milk balls in honey syrup.

    Taj of India

    • Taj of India is located in Georgetown and specializes in traditional Dumpakht Indian cuisine. It is open for lunch and dinner and offers a lunch buffet as well. The restaurant can cater off-site or be reserved for banquets as well.

      All appetizers are served with homemade green coriander chutney, tamarind and onion chutney. They include meat samosa, a green salad, chat papri and the Taj appetizer platter. Tandoori grilled specialties include shrimp tandoori, lamb chops and a tandoori mixed grill. Other entrees include lamb vindaloo, beef korma, shrimp curry, fish marsala, vegetable biryani and mixed vegetable curry.
