    Aspirus Wausau Hospital: Grants

    • The Aspirus Health Foundation, which operates in connection with the Aspirus Wausau Hospital, funds grants to health care related projects, research and organizations serving the Wausau and surrounding areas. Past Aspirus Health Foundation grant recipients have included the CaRE Foundation for Cardiovascular research, the newborn intensive care unit at the Aspirus Wausau Hospital, Rainbow's End Day Camp for special needs children, and Wausau Area Mobile Meals.     • The Community Foundation of North Central Wisconsin offers several grants to be used in the region including in Wausau. These include the Wausau-Marathon County Fund, which provides money for a wide range of community projects from arts to health services, and the Beyond Pencils & Crayons Grants, in which funds are given directly to primary school teachers as a resource to allow them to improve on the standard curriculum.
