How to Find Keywords For a Website Or an Article - It"s Like a Walk in the Park

How to find keywords for a website or an article is simple once you know the basics of how to do it.
Keywords are those words which the internet user types into the search bar of a search engine (such as Google) to locate a specific product or information about a topic that they are interested in.
If you are marketing through Article Marketing (which is what I do because it's free) then your keyword or keyword phrase should be placed in your article title, in the first paragraph of your article, in the last paragraph of your article and in your bio box.
It can also be used a couple of times in the body of your article depending on your article length.
You are looking for somewhere between 1% and 3% keyword density.
Anymore than that it will most likely be considered SPAM by the article directory.
What this looks like is that for an article which is 500 words then you should use your keyword or keyword phrase between 5 and 15 times.
When searching for keywords that will generate traffic to your site make sure and consider keywords which have low competition but high search volume.
These types of keywords are much more ideal for targeting your traffic.
You will have to use some brain power when finding keywords.
After all, your brain is the best tool you have in your arsenal for internet marketing.
Make a list of what you are offering.
These can be services that are offered, products in your category, and the benefits of these products or services.
People will always respond better to benefits for themselves rather than features of a product or service.
Take this list into consideration when you are searching for keywords.
There are many tools available that will help you discover keywords.
Some are free; some are not free.
I think that the Google Keyword Search Tool is as good as any out there.
Best of all is that it is a free tool! When determining what words you should choose as keywords make sure that they are relevant to your topic.
No one who is looking for information about how to perform a search for keywords wants to be lead to a page which gives them information on dog training, for example.
That would really turn them off.
How to find keywords for a website or an article can be time consuming, but it's not rocket science.
Anyone can do it.
Remember that targeting good keywords are necessary for the profit of your articles and websites.
It is well worth it to spend the time that you need to do a thorough job.
