Camping Tents and equipment

The camping trip, what to bring and what to expect!!
Fun, enjoyment and excitement.
Have you ever wondered why people go camping? It's about fun and a family bonding experience. Once you get the taste for it, you will find yourself going again and again. Camping can be a very cheap form of accommodation especially once you start to accumulate various pieces of camping equipment. Just the basics are all you need for a memorable vacation. Having the freedom to set up in a camping ground, wildlife reserve or by your favourite river where you can catch fish to BBQ for dinner. This is just a small taste of the various places you can pitch a tent and explore the great outdoors.
What do you need to start your family camping trip? Your basics start with a Tent, sleeping bag, air mattress, table & chair, a lantern or light and eating utensils. If you will be starting out in a camping ground, most offer toilets, showers and even communal share kitchens with fridge, microwave and cooking facilities. (Check with your camping park) - This will eliminate some extra things you will need to take. If you're going to head into the outback, bush or river areas then you will need a few more camping items. A gas bottle, stove or grill, water storage containers, or even a small generator will be useful if you're wanting power rather that gas.
The tent is most important piece of equipment that you will need. Camping tents are classified by their size, which is, the number of people they can sleep. They range from the one man tent up to larger family tents, which sleep from 4 to 8. Dome tents are designed to comfortably fit one to two people; they are lightweight and generally easy to assemble. Tents for three & four people are designed to accommodate more people. These larger tents come not only in dome shapes but also in other styles. Most camping tents come with a fly cover or veranda which is a waterproof. The dome Tents are fast becoming a very popular tent to use in most places and conditions. Many families use more than one dome tent for extra people, storage or clothes and other camping items.
To work out what supplies you need can be a challenge. Here you can select from a wide range of camping supplies including sleeping bags and other sleeping gear, chairs, cookware, stoves, lanterns and flashlights, screen shelters, first aid kits, water storage, tent fittings, furniture and much more is available. We offer proven brands and excellent value for money. Keeping you equipment clean after each trip will ensure they will last a long time. You could also borrow camping items from friends until you get your own.
A camping trip can be a very eventful and fun experience, hopefully one of many that will have you camping over and over again. Just imagine campfires, walks in the wilderness with torches, sizzling BBQ's and all the socializing that comes with an outdoor adventure. Camping creates the memories you and your children will carry for ever - ensuring the tradition will continue on for generations.
