How to Make a Yoga Mat

    • 1). Spread out the blanket on the floor with the side you prefer to lie on facing down. Smooth and flatten it out as much as possible. Lightly line the top with fabric glue.

    • 2). On top of the blanket, spread out the towels or sheets evenly over the entire surface. Focus on keeping the thickness the same, and use fabric glue sparingly between layers. Do not make any areas bulkier or thicker than other areas. When the surface feels evenly padded, press down over all the towels to flatten it. Allow to dry.

    • 3). On top of the towels, place the rubber rug liner, lined up with the blanket. Press the entire stack flat again, being careful to keep the towels securely in place.

    • 4). Using the needle and thread, sew the corners and sides of the blanket to the rug liner.
