At the start of the game each player on the table will be dealt with two cards or also known as the pocket/hole cards that are exclusive to them only. The players will combine their pocket cards with the five community cards in order to form a five card hand. The last person dealt with pocket cards will be considered to be the dealer and will be marked with a dealer button. This button will be passed clockwise to the next player at the end of each hand.
The two players on the dealer's left will post the blinds, a mandatory betting before the cards are dealt in order to ensure that there is something to play for on every hand. The players on the table can make specific actions such as bet or placing money on the pot, call means to match or equal his opponents bet, fold is to forfeit one's card, check means passing on making an action if there's no bet to play, raise is to double up someone's bet and re- raise is to increase another player's raise, if it's their turn.
The players will now have a total of six cards to play with on the table after the dealer reveals the fourth card or the turn. After another round of betting took place, the final round will have the dealer reveal the river or the fifth community card face up. Again, a round of betting will take place.
The game will finally conclude after all the five community cards have been displayed on the table and the players who remained and haven't folded will then reveal their pocket cards combining it to the five cards on the table. The player who has the best hand will be declared the winner.
