Why Some Skincare Products Get Results and Some Are a Waste of Money

Have you ever wondered how to figure out which skincare products work before you buy them? Most of the time, we listen to friends, or read something in magazines to find out which ones to buy.
Well, if you want to do your own research and find out for yourself what the most effective skincare product is for your skin type, read on.
I am going to give you five tips for selecting a good skin care product.
1.
Many products contain alcohols - While not all alcohols are the same, you will find that many skincare products use different alcohols in their products.
Maybe you've used rubbing alcohol on your skin, or gone to the doctor where they applied it to your skin before giving you a shot.
If you have, then you've no doubt noticed that the alcohol can dry out your skin.
Repeatedly applying alcohol to your skin can even irritate i or cause conditions such as eczema, or dermatitis.
2.
Some products use toxic fragrances - Much like alcohol, fragrances contain chemicals that have been shown to irritate the skin.
In fact, it's widely recommended that people who have dry skin, eczema, or frequent skin rashes not use any skin products with fragrances in it.
The reason is that fragrances further provoke their skin problems which can even lead to infection.
Besides, the chemicals you find in fragrances are readily absorbed by your skin.
When you rub them regularly onto your skin, and this is especially true if you apply it to large areas of your skin, you will regularly absorb known chemicals into your blood stream.
For fragrances, you are much better off applying a dab here and a dab there so that you limit your exposure to these potential toxins.
3.
The product must protect your skin from free radical damage - Everyday our skin suffers damages due to the environment, diet, sun and for many other reasons.
This damage shows itself by aging our skin.
An important step in getting great skin and looking more youthful is to protect ourselves from these damages.
A good skincare ingredient for protecting our skin and even promoting rejuvenation is CoQ10, a powerful antioxidant.
The best variety of CoQ10 that I have found is Nano-Lipobelle H-EQ10.
What makes this variety of CoQ10 different is its ability to penetrate far into the skin and attack the free radicals that are deep below the surface.
Most varieties of CoQ10 cannot do this, which means their effectiveness is limited.
4.
The product must regrow your collagen - You probably have heard of collagen before.
In fact, some products even include collagen as an ingredient in their products.
This is great for marketing purposes, but you should be aware that this really isn't going to benefit your skin.
The problem is that collagen can't be absorbed into the skin, the molecules are too big.
Instead, you will get results from products that promote the regrowth of collagen.
In a moment, I will tell you three ingredients to look for that will help promote the regrowth of your own collagen.
5.
The products must also regrow your elastin -  Just like collagen, another important protein that keeps your skin elastic and healthy, elastin, can be regrown as well.
In fact, the same ingredients that help you regrow you collagen will also help you regrow your elastin.
So, what are the ingredients that help you regrow both collagen and elastin? The are Nano-Lipobelle H-EQ10, Phytessence Wakame, and Cynergy TK.
You can find these in the most effective skincare products.
