The debate over the meaning of life and death dates back to the day when the first human walked the planet. For ordinary people, the concept of life and death is simply the time between birth and death. However, scientists, academics, philosophers, and religious scholars all have a very different view about life and its existence.
Those that follow science typically believe that life and death are stages of the biological being or existence of human body. What is definite is the fact that life and death both are certain for every individual. To know life, one should know death. And to experience death, one must live life. While it is certain that death will and can strike us any time, what we do not know is its exact time, place, and form.
Many people believe that humans are born to live their pre-specified life and after that, they will decay. But this totally seems illogical because life cannot come to humans without a purpose. It is assumed that all life on earth will vanish the day sun turns into a big red ball of fire destroying everything that is around. Eventually a time will come when the earth will not be able to survive, and all matter and energy shall bury under the big crunch.
While we pretend that we are not haunted by the thought of death, it is human nature to fear it to a certain degree. Death strikes us in mysterious and unknown ways, most when we are least bothered or are unaware. It is nearly impossible to predetermine death, but what we do know is that our life has purpose that is guided by something greater than us.
While some souls are carefree, most of us experience or at least witness the extreme ends in our lives. How often do we see people who were once completely indulged in to their worldly benefits, turning back to nature blindly? In the end, people do come to realize the fact that spiritualism does exist and has its own significance.
Humans as a race are blinded by ambition, our wants and desires are unlimited. Most people spend 80% of their lives struggling for the luxuries and pleasures of life. This behavior determines what we know and what we do not know about spiritualism. Our parents, families, teachers, and peers are the ones who structure our personality and help us form our morality. As a result, we spend our energy and devote our time towards something, which we do not even have a real need for.
Managing these pressures and deciding how to live life depends on one's own beliefs. It requires courage to believe and practice the faith, which we believe. All you need is an open heart, a conscious mind, and a pure spirit. The key to achieving this is to have wisdom to understand the realities of life. Remember that what you are searching for is within you. To know life and death, you need to start pondering over your own existence.
