- 1). Compile information about the destination, including location, transportation, languages spoken, weather, and restaurants, shopping and tourist attractions. To transmit emotion to your readers, talk to people that have been there and include the best descriptions they give you.
- 2). Write the brochure. Include the bare essentials with descriptive words to describe the moments, places and sensations. Use tourist testimonials.
- 3). Choose the right pictures. It's better to illustrate what you are saying with an image. For example, if you just wrote two paragraphs about a national park, do not put beach pictures next to them, even if the country you're writing about is noted for its coastal waters.
- 4). Recommend specific hours for specific locations, such as eating at night at a restaurant that has a great view of the city lights.
- 5). Design a creative layout using software such as Adobe Illustrator or Corel Draw. Pick good colors, fonts and make it look organized. Choose an array of colors that is neither too shiny nor too dark.
