The word "Meditation" sounds like it is taken from a particular religion, but to be frank it is much older than the major religions of the world.
Meditation does not belong to any particular religion and is rather a healthy mind-body practice that any one in the world, no matter what religion or culture he or she belongs to, can make use of.
Science has proved the immense benefits,meditation has, to acquire a healthy mind and body.
Lowering of the blood pressure levels, helping to maintain a healthy blood circulation, relieving stress and tension are a few of the benefits that learning meditation would provide you with.
But how many of us is making use of this immensely beneficial practice, is to be guessed.
