30 Sorry Reasons You May Never Finish Writing Your Book

Don't be angry because I made that statement.
We all make sorry excuses about one thing or another.
Let me ask you something.
Are you struggling to finish your book? Considering how long you've been working on it, you may feel it should have been done yesterday.
Yet, you keep putting it off; your excuse might be on the list below.
Sure, it sounded like a good enough reason until someone else pointed it out to you.
Read the reasons below and see if your reason made the list.
Then choose the one that rings the bell the loudest and find a way to get past it.
You may have to do like I did with the sorry reasons I couldn't finish, years ago.
If it -sorry reason, lame excuse- stood in my way, I went around it, climbed over, went under or just plain got over it.

  14. I don't want to write a book because it might succeed.
That would be too much for me to handle.
  15. I wasn't disciplined as a child.
  16. My idea is too good to put into words.
  17. Someone might steal my work.
  18. I wrote a book once and I lost the manuscript.
  19. Sorry, I'm fresh out of ideas.
  20. I am too young.
  21. My family might get mad about what I write.
  22. I can't figure out what to write.
  23. I don't have that much money.
  24. I am too old.
  25. I know people won't read it.
  26. If I took the time to write a book, it might not sell.
  27. I just took my vacation for the year.
  28. I can't write good enough.
  29. I don't know how.
  30. I knew someone that wrote a book and nothing happened.
