Hypnosis has long been recognised as the most successful way to quit smoking.
But not all stop smoking hypnosis techniques are equal.
Some are logically going to be more successful.
1.
Hypnosis by audio tape.
The advantage of using tapes is that you can do it from your home in your own time frame.
You can also do it as often as you wish.
But the script used can only be general at best.
There is no way to monitor the person during the trance state.
2.
Group hypnosis relies on general information to be suitable for everyone.
While many will respond most don't.
One of my clients went straight from a group session to a shop to buy cigarettes.
There is no way to determine if those participating are actually engaged with the process.
3.
Standard hypnosis.
The success will depend on the skill of the hypnotist and whether they use standard scrips.
Often it is done over 3 or more sessions.
My criticism is that you are either a smoker or you are not.
Multiple sessions allow for too much slippage.
4.
Advanced hypnosis combined with Neuro Linguistic Programming-NLP is a perfect blend.
It is done in just one session.
It is personalised to suit each client, plus the NLP component gives each client the skills to manage their emotions without nicotine.
NLP also equips each person to create good feelings within themselves to compensate for any smoking desire, which could arise in the future.
Advanced hypnosis with NLP eliminates any cravings and gives clients the confidence to move forward in their lives without worrying about taking up smoking again.
