Dynamic Meditation

Meditation is a way to reduce mental stress, improve concentration focus, heal emotional and even physical ailments.
Many people who practice meditation reported better sense of well-being, higher ability to cope with life situations, and also improved physical health.
Ancient meditation techniques originated from early discoveries of Man about his ability to self-actualize through the connection of body, mind and spirit.
Meditation is a form of Yoga discovered by our ancestors as a means to self realization.
It is also through this that Man first realized that our potential is not simply limited to this physical realm.
Dynamic meditation means to meditate every moment of our life - at work, at home, in social functions or alone etc.
It is the highest form of meditation, and is achieved with constant awareness.
Every emotion, reaction, feeling and judgment we experience at any time, happens for a reason.
The key to dynamic meditation is not with denying or eliminating these feelings.
The goal is simply to be aware, conscious of the feeling, and why you are feeling this way.
To illustrate our 4 worldly human chakras, we can categorize them simplify them into - Physical, Emotional, Mental, Love.
The first level rules our basic survival needs eg food, shelter, safety.
The Emotional level consists of our blind emotions - eg.
anger, fear, jealousy and sexual lust.
These are blind because if not stopped by a higher consciousness, they are acted out with no regard to consequences.
The Mental level is concerned with Ego ie.
superiority to others.
The Love dimension holds feelings concerned with the heart ie.
love.
To begin practicing Dynamic Meditation, we can start with being aware of these basic 4 dimensions which all human beings operate in.
Every plan, thought, intention or act coming from us, is actually the result of our mind operating in one of the levels.
A simple example would be deciding what to eat for lunch.
Based on memory, I know that certain foods make me feel good, while others make me feel tired and cranky.
In order to protect my Physical body, my Physical mind gives instructions to get the foods which best agree with me.
For the Emotional level, let's say I'm feeling hurt and angry because a loved one said mean things and treated me without respect.
Out of anger, without thinking, I shouted more nasty things to vent my anger.
Ego, is the mind operating unconsciously on the Mental level.
When I was working in the corporate sector, competition was always intense.
In order to rank among top performers, I would plan how to clinch the most sales, suck up to the bosses etc.
This is the Mental unconscious mind working to satisfy Ego's needs.
When the mind works unconsciously on the Love level, it seeks to give love with expectations.
Love is with conditions and expected returns.
For example, a mother provides and cares for the son with the expectation that he will take care of her in future and put her as number one priority.
Most of us have experienced these thoughts and intentions at some points of our life.
As long as we are human, we cannot escape these totally.
The key to being above them is to be aware of them.
Dynamic meditation can be practiced by paying attention to your thoughts, more and more often, until you achieve a constant watchfulness.
