GMAT, the acronym of the Graduate Management Admission Test is one of the entrance tests falling under the category of the most taken up tests to study abroad. This score is accepted in more than eighty countries, and over 1500 institutions offering about 4,800 courses in the management level. Since, having an attractive score in the GMAT provides the student such a huge global exposure, most of the students willing to pursue MBA from the renowned universities of the English speaking nations including USA. The GMAT score is valid for five years. Since taking up this exam, registration and other procedures require a great deal of money. Therefore, a student needs to do substantial preparation for GMAT in a planned manner in order score well in the exam. A computer adaptive test, GMAT requires efficiency in computer so that an examinee can effortlessly go for the exam at the time of the test. The test paper of the GMAT is prepared in a way so that a student’s mathematical, critical reasoning, analytical and verbal abilities are measured to assess the management ability of the concerned student. Besides time solving short cut techniques should be applied to the problems as the time allotted for each section is very short compared to the number of questions. For instance, only seventy five minutes are allowed for completing this section. The verbal section constitutes forty one questions involving comprehension, grammatical problems, critical section etc. In the Integrated Reasoning portion, the examinee’s logical and analytical ability are evaluated.
