    Side Effects

    • The most common side effects while using Evoxac are nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, hyperhydrosis (excessive sweating), rash, headache, drowsiness, hot flashes, blurred vision, insomnia, runny nose and cough.

    Serious Side Effects

    • Evoxac has the potential of causing serious side effects including breathing problems, fever, sore throat, abnormal urination and joint or muscle pain. This is just a partial list of the side effects. Contact a physician if abnormal symptoms are noticed.

    Rare Side Effects

    • Rare side effects which require immediate attention while taking Evoxac include chest pain, arrhythmia (irregular heart beat), jaundice (yellowing of eyes and/or skin), abdominal pain, bruising, bleeding and mood swings.

    Drug Interactions

    • Evoxac has the potential to interact with other medications. Inform the physician if currently taking beta-blockers, selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs) or antidepressants.

    Precautions

    • While taking Evoxac, patients with asthma, bronchitis, chronic obstructive pulmonary (COPD), liver disease, heart disease, kidney stones and gall stones should notify health care professional about pre-existing medical conditions to prevent adverse reactions.
