Buck Davidson and My Boy Bobby

Here again is Buck Davidson and My Boy Bobby at a challenging set of jumps. What I wasn't able to get into the photo, without making the horse and rider look like ants, is a skinny --a narrow jump that tests the horse's obedience, just outside the right border of this photo. Here the rider guided the horse up a bank, over the log and brush jump at the top and then down over a jump that was about 4 feet wide by 4 feet high and shaped like a set of steps.

A long straight away allowed the riders to gain some time, but they then had to control the horses' striding to make it over this combination of obstacles.
