Having being on my fair share of stag night outings in the past, I consider myself as a bit of an expert when it comes to celebrating a good friends last few hours of 'freedom'. With trips to Blackpool, Liverpool, Edinburgh, Dublin and Newcastle to name just a few, I have visited some of the UK's most popular night time destinations over the last few years.

So when I was asked about going to Amsterdam for a stag night I was excited at the prospect of going somewhere that was a bit different. I had heard many things about Amsterdam, some positive and some negative but after spending some time on the internet researching the activities on offer in Amsterdam, I knew it would be a great weekend.

Although I wasn't organising the trip I also had a quick look at flights to Amsterdam and " title="hotels in Amsterdam">hotels in Amsterdam. I was amazed at the number of cheap flights to Amsterdam on offer and the choice of hotels was very impressive.

It was left to the best man to arrange the flights and accommodation. It ended up working out at around 130 per person which was extremely reasonable. From past experience it usually costs a similar amount for the hotel and travel to major cities in the UK.

Having just arrived back from what was an epic weekend, I can honestly say that it was the best stag weekend that I have been involved in. Amsterdam really is a remarkable place. I am already planning another visit with my girlfriend to see the 'other' side of Amsterdam. I'm sure this visit, although sure to very different to my first visit, will be equally enjoyable. I'm also sure that I will remember much more of this trip than the last!
