Celebrate your anniversary or just enjoy each other by spending time alone at home or going out on a romantic date. If you live close to a beach, take a walk together along the shoreline as the sun goes down or sit and relax on your patio and enjoy a quiet moment together before heading off to dinner at your favorite restaurant. - Go on a sunset boat cruise at a nearby river or lake. Most large cities that have rivers or small lakes nearby offer dinner cruises on board the boat. Enjoy dinner as you watch the sun go down with your spouse. Beforehand buy her a necklace and place it in an attractive box with a bow. Ask the waiter to come out before dessert and surprise her with the gift. He can place the present directly on the tray or make it even less obvious by placing it underneath a silver plate cover. Then her present is revealed as he lifts the plate cover.
- Buy your wife 10 or more romantic gifts, such as a charm bracelet, ring, necklace, lingerie and other elegant presents. Wrap these gifts in decorative red and white, in boxes with bows on top. Make a list of all the gifts so you don't forget what you bought her. Then buy old-fashioned paper and draw a treasure map. The map should include several destinations throughout your home.
Write the first clue for her first gift on the map itself and then write the second on a small piece of paper and place this clue with the first gift. Each gift leads to the next, and so on, until she reaches the final destination, which is the bedroom. Mark an X on the map each time your wife finds a gift, and put the jewelry pieces on her one by one. She will get excited over and over again and her eyes might even fill with tears and she continues to find new gifts. An example of a clue is "What was our first kitchen appliance"? This clue leads her to the kitchen, and so on.
Close the door to the bedroom so that your wife doesn't realize what is in the room. Place the last gift under the pillow and sprinkle rose petals all over the floor. Make the bed with new sheets and blankets and use rose petals to create a giant heart shape on the bed. Place a bouquet of roses on each night stand in the room.
If you can't find old-fashioned paper you can crinkle up computer paper, pour coffee on top and allow the paper to dry. She might even want to place the map in her scrapbook so she can hold on to this precious memory. - Reserve a honeymoon suite at your local resort. Visit the room in advance and sprinkle rose petals on the floor and bed. Place wine on ice in the fridge and put massage oil and bubble bath gel in the bathroom. After dinner surprise your spouse by taking her to the room. Take a hot bubble bath together and relax as the heat from the bath soothes tired muscles. Then head over to the bed and give your partner a luxurious massage.
