A luxury and atypical hotel in and old cooperative winery !

In the south of France, near Perpignan and the mediterranean coasts, you can find a brand new atypical 4* hotel : the Riberach Hotel.

L'Hotel Riberach is more than just a luxury hotel.

Above all by its context : the old cellar cooperative 1925 of Bélesta, a small village of the Roussillon region located 30 minutes from Perpignan and the sea side, has been completely renovated and transformed into upscale.

This renovation led by two architects, Luc Richard and Karin Püringher, was made according to the building's history but also the environment.

Therefore, the old tanks were transformed into rooms and suites. Some openings have been made to enjoy the breathtaking view over the vineyards and Mediterranean gardens created at the foot of the hotel. Each room offers a different atmosphere, contemporary for relaxation and rest.

A swimming pool and a SPA will also be made in order to offer a relaxing stay.

Rooms and suites in old tanks

The typical white corridor of cooperatives can now give an access to these rooms. We still find the doors of the tanks and the faucets, as a tribute to the building's history. Somme old materials has also been reused for building renovation.

Considering environment, hotel uses both solar and geothermal energy and has a reinforced insulation to an annual gain in CO2 of 8 800 kg.

Riberac is not only a hotel… It is also a restaurant and cellar…

The restaurant offers Mediterranean cuisine based on fresh seasonal products produced by the young chef Laurent Lemal. For dessert : the trolley of pastries and cheeses concocted by his wife Julie, pastry chef.

The wine list is well understood in the meeting with local wines and elsewhere at great prices.

Finally, the cellar presents the local wines made by four men : Jean-Michel Jerseys, the winemaker, Patrick Rodrigues, the winemaker, Moritz Herzog sommelier and Luc Richard architect and "rector spritus". The local varieties and traditional Roussillon are thus set values simply.
