It is widely known that the late Bruce Lee possessed one of, if not THE greatest physiques in modern history.
Bodybuilding royalty such as Lou Ferrigno, Dorian Yates and Lee Haney have all spoken about the impact Bruce Lee's physique has had on their own bodybuilding careers.
Arnold Schwarzenegger even said "Bruce Lee had a very...
I mean very...
defined physique.
I mean, he probably had one of the lowest body fat counts of any athlete around.
" But here's the kicker...
Bruce wasn't really that concerned with body building as such.
He trained primarily for strength and speed.
Sure, he did weight training...
but the way he trained with weights was specifically designed for fighting (I won't say Martial Arts, because that term is a whole lot more than just the fighting element).
He wanted to deliver every technique with as much speed and power as humanly possible.
And that training led bodybuilding immortal Joe Weider to say that Bruce Lee had "the most defined body I've ever seen!" So his physique was more of a by-product than anything else.
He didn't ask for the body, but rather obtained it by becoming the most proficient fighter he could possibly be.
And just like Bruce Lee's body was a by-product of his training to become more effective in combat...
in business, profits should be a by-product of you becoming as proficient as you can in your chosen field.
It doesn't matter what industry you're in, you shouldn't focus directly on the money.
The money is a by-product of your efforts.
Focus on your efforts.
If you're a marketer, become the best marketer you possibly can.
If you're a tradesman, become the best tradesman you possibly can.
Focus on becoming the best you can be and the results will soon follow.
And remember, "Knowledge is not enough, you must apply.
Willing is not enough, you must do" - Bruce Lee.
