Pay Per Click Marketing (PPC) - This is a truly advanced strategy, that can cost you a small fortune if you don't know what you are doing.
With PPC you are really buying data, not just traffic.
So if you don't know how to analyze and then capitalize on that data you should stay very far away from this traffic generation method.

Article Marketing - This is probably one of the most newbie friendly ways to promote affiliate products online.
But it has its drawbacks, just like anything else in life.
It is extremely labor intensive.
So if you don't have the time or the money to outsource, be prepared to have a difficult time making money with this method.
3.
Social Media - This is also a free method, but one with drawbacks as well.
When people go to Twitter and Facebook to enjoy themselves, not to be bombarded by blatant advertisements.
So when marketing this way, you need to learn the happy medium.
Market, but don't be so obvious about it.
There are plenty of courses available that specialize in social media marketing.
4.
Forum marketing - This is actually my favorite free method.
By posting in forums with an affiliate link in your signature, you might not get a ton of traffic, but the traffic is quality because you've built a rapport in the forum with you new found customer.
