Families must submit a letter of inquiry to apply, and the letter must include information about the family, the child’s needs, health insurance information and copies of the bills for which payment is requested. Families may submit applications year-round; however, the board reviews grant applications quarterly in March, June, September and December. Notifications are sent to applicants within 60 days after the grant review.
