Yet, what are you doing with all those leads from your articles? Each day I monitor the efforts of my Internet article marketing.
As the number of articles grow so does the time, but this time is well worth the investment.
My monitoring of my articles includes specific measurements such as:
- First 24 hour views or reads
- First weekly views or reads
- First 12 months views or reads
- Annual reads after first year
- Number of times the articles has been picked up to be published by another site
- Number of times the links in the resource box have been clicked
Using an autoresponder is a given if you truly wish to maximize your Internet article marketing efforts.
After reviewing the statistics, I look to see if I am getting the signups based upon the views and the click throughs to my website site.
If I am getting click throughs, but not enough signups, I revisit my website page to determine if that is the problem.
Next, I look at the resource box and I may make some changes.
Then I check the actual pages viewed through the control panel on my website.
In this way, I can determine if the page is actually converting a visitor to a potential client through once again the auto responder or actual Internet online purchases.
In marketing research, direct mail is considered successful if you receive 1% to 2% response that being someone calling or taking action.
For me, my goal is to eventually secure a 5% response when someone visits one of my pages with a signup.
With every person on your list from your autoresponder having a value of at least $.
50 to $1.
00 or even more, then it is critical that your Internet article marketing efforts entice as many people as possible to sign up.
Those who are not your ideal target market will unsubscribed and free up your time to focus on those who are truly interested.
Submitting the article is just another step in Internet article marketing.
You must measure and manage your article writing efforts.
Just remember not to overload your lists with a lot of broadcast messages because they will unsubscribe if the message does not have value for them.
