Gigi - Kennedy Center – Jan. 16 - Feb. 12, 2015. Set in turn-of-the-century Paris, the romantic musical comedy is about a young woman coming of age in the magical world of La Belle Époque where fashion, glamour, and passion prevail. When she finds true love with a wealthy young playboy, both must overcome their destinies to create a future together.

Ludwig’s Baskerville: A Sherlock Holmes Mystery Arena Stage - Jan. 16-Feb. 22, 2015. Adapted from Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s beloved The Hound of the Baskervilles, the show is a fast-paced comedic tale of murder, intrigue and a wild hound. The cast of five actors together portray over 40 characters. Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson must crack the mystery before a family curse dooms its newest heir. Watch as our intrepid investigators try to escape a dizzying web of clues, silly accents, disguises and deceit. Does a wild hellhound prowl the moors of Devonshire? Can our heroes discover the truth in time?

The Widow LincolnFord’s Theatre - Jan. 23-Feb. 22, 2015. Set during the weeks following Abraham Lincoln’s murder at Ford’s Theatre, The Widow Lincoln portrays Mary Todd Lincoln in the aftermath of her husband’s death as she mourns the post-war life they will never share. Ford’s Theatre commissioned this world premiere as part of the Ford’s 150, a series of events commemorating the 150th anniversary of Lincoln’s assassination.

Godspell - Olney Theatre Center – Feb. 4 – March 1, 2015. Steven Schwartz’s Tony-nominated classic includes an exciting array of music and dance as the parables of Jesus Christ come to life in this modern take on a timeless tale of friendship, loyalty, and love. This family-friendly musical features songs like “All Good Gifts”, “Day By Day”, and “Turn Back, O Man”.

The Lieutenant of Inishmore - Constellation Theatre Company - Feb. 5 – March 8, 2015 at SOURCE 1835 14th St NW, Washington, DC. On the bonny island of Inishmore, some misguided soul has killed Wee Thomas - the beloved black kitty of the fiercely-devoted, wildly-mad, Irish Liberation Fighter Padraic. In an effort to spare Padraic any grief or anger, neighbors Davey and Donny recruit a substitute cat. But in a world of terrorists, machine guns and vendettas, their valiant efforts fall short when they wind up with an orange tabby and a can of black shoe polish.

Chicago the MusicalNational Theatre  - Feb. 10 - 15, 2015. The hit musical tells the story of Roxie Hart, a housewife and nightclub dancer who maliciously murders her on-the-side lover after he threatens to walk out on her. Desperate to avoid conviction, she dupes the public, the media and her rival cellmate, Velma Kelly, by hiring Chicago's slickest criminal lawyer to transform her malicious crime into a barrage of sensational headlines, the likes of which might just as easily be ripped from today's tabloids. 

King Hedley II – Arena Stage -Feb. 6 - March 8, 2015. Set in the 1980s Hill District of Pittsburgh, the ninth installment of Pulitzer Prize winner August Wilson’s acclaimed play cycle examining Black America follows a scarred ex-convict who struggles to turn his life around and lock away his past. King Hedley has returned, but to reign for how long? With an angry scar down the length of his face and seven years of prison haunting him, King has a chance to lock away his past and achieve an entrepreneurial dream.

Much Ado About Nothing!Synetic Theater - Feb 11- March 15, 2015. Set in 1950's Las Vegas, this flirtatious and fiercely funny show will blow you away with rockin' tunes, rat packers, and dreamy chicks who will shake, rattle, and roll as only Synetic performers can! Synetic's lively interpretation of Much Ado About Nothing will delve into the true meaning of courtship, love, and commitment through confirmed bachelor Benedick and the equally spirited and unwed Beatrice!

Anything Goes Warner Theatre – February 25-26, 2015. For two days only! Winner of the 2011 Tony Award® for Best Revival of a Musical. The 1934 musical comedy is about the lovers, liars and clowns on a transatlantic cruise. When the S.S. American heads out to sea, etiquette and convention head out the portholes as two unlikely pairs set off on the course to true love… proving that sometimes destiny needs a little help from a crew of singing sailors, an exotic disguise and some good old-fashioned blackmail.

The OriginalistArena Stage - March 6-April 26, 2015. Four-time Helen Hayes Award winner Edward Gero (Red) returns to Arena Stage as one of America’s most brilliant and polarizing figures: Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia.
