The Golden Retriever Breed One Should Not Buy

It was about 50 years ago that my mother (who has passed away) brought home a very big puppy.
She was brown with some shades of black along her mane and some parts of her head and mouth.
It was a she and we named her Francie.
She was a very faithful dog who stayed near the house, watched it and never strayed far.
I taught her some tricks like shaking hands (she gives either front paw) and picking up things I throw to a distance.
When she died, we all were sad in the house and some of us cried.
A dog means a lot in a family.
One could say that a dog becomes part of the family.
Oftentimes, the qualities found in a dog are bred into him by the family that keeps him or her.
The dog is treated well and is provided medication when it needs it.
It is without doubt that homes need a dog to keep watch.
It barks when strangers come around letting the members of the family know that there is someone at the door.
It warns the family when robbers are around.
Domestics in the house eat all left-over food so nothing is thrown away.
Securing a dog for the home requires being choosy about which dog to pick-up.
Rightly, dogs that have diseases but whose owners do not have them treated nor their welfare attended to, should not be taken in by families wishing to have dogs to own.
One should not buy from a breeder who cannot show any medical certification for his dogs or one who is unknown to the family.
Doing business only to get more money and never mind other concerns is certainly a very obnoxious practice which most people do not approve.
The business of selling dogs to stay in homes requires that the breeders should consider, first of all, the health of the dog.
He or she should be well-cared, given love and training to be a welcome helpful companion for humans.
A dog will never forget its master.
His strong sense of smell will always help the dog recognize the members of the family he has stayed with.
With patience, one can train a dog well to do some things like carrying a basket.
The loyalty of a dog alone is a worthy role it can play of being just close to its master keeping him or her company.
Dogs can be taught to do more important things.
When taught well, they can help man solve crimes or prevent them.
The presence of dogs in the community just shows that man can not live without dogs.
Whether treated as pets, work dogs or companions, dogs accompany man wherever he goes because he is useful and entertaining.
Discerning the good from the bad breeders is possible on the part of the one desiring to own a good and intelligent dog.
The characteristics of the bad breeder are unconcern, love for money and ignorance of the heritage and hereditary traits of the dog.
Besides, one can easily notice a well-trained and well-bred dog from one who is not.
A good breeder could possibly describe the dog's qualities, habits, likes and dislikes.
Talking business with a good breeder would most likely be a pleasant task.
Trying to know about the dog one will take home, would take a little time to describe, if it is the Golden Retriever Breed.
