The Old Man Was Weeping

The Old Man Was Weeping

The jungle was dense and deep and I was returning from office passing through it.

The sun was setting and the birds were returning to their nests.

I saw an old man on the top of the mountain weeping inside a cottage.

I took pity of the old man and went to him.

I asked him the reason of his weeping.

He took a long sigh and told that he was being betrayed by his family.

As he became old his children did not take his care.

His family members were becoming scared.

So he decided to leave his home.

One day he left the home and went to the deep forest far away from his family.

He built a cottage and since then was living inside it with much difficulty.

Thinking of the behaviors of the family members he was becoming much worried.

That day he thought very much and was visioning his life long service.

In spite of his sacrifice he was not being taken care of.

That gave him much agony for which he was weeping.

I looked to the setting sun and took pity of the old man.

I requested him to be my guest for that day.

He was requiring love and affection and was happily agreed.

The old man narrated the story of his life during the course of our journey.

As we reached my home half of his story was finished.

He received all hospitality from my family.

He became very contented and happy.

He blessed my family members with tears in his eyes.

He gave many advice to my wife.

He told me the other half of the story in the silence of the night.

With rapt attention I heard the story of the old man.

Under the stars filled sky and the full moon we were looking forward.

I was seeing some dejections in the eyes of the old man.

He was sleeping like an obedient servant.

I was looking to him and was thinking of the life's cruelty.

As he was old his family members forgot the value of his life long service.

His life story prompted me to write my master piece.

In the next morning the old man left for his cottage.

With tearful eyes I looked him till he disappeared from my eyes.

I was looking to the rising sun and was thinking to give the old man a new dawn.

I joined the battle of life merging in the beauties of the nature.

From that day I regularly visited the old man and he was treating me like his son.

Talking with him I was forgetting my worries, anxieties and tension.

Coming in contact with me he was forgetting that he was old.

He was freely exchanging with me his ideas, thoughts and his vision.

I started writing a good novel about the old man after reaching home.

As I was writing I was seeing the old man walking inside my brain, body and mind and was narrating his life.

Writing about the old  man's life became my regular practice.

I engaged myself in writing with utmost accuracy.

It took me complete one year to complete the novel.

After all the formalities I released the book in the market.

Initially I had made fifteen thousand copies.

After one week I received many orders for more than lakhs of copies.

As the book was sold like hot cakes in the market I earned a lot.

After I reached one crore mark I was burst with tears of joy.

I made a college and gave it the name of the old man.

I made the old man the chief advisor of the college.

I provided him a good bunglow with all comforts.

Being the head of the college the old man shed the tears of joy.

He blessed me with his heartfelt smiles and love.

He became vibrant, dynamic and young looking to all the affairs of the college.

As I was passing in front of the room of the old man he was seeing the rising sun.

It appeared as if he was seeing his first dawn.

He had many things to do and walk a path very long.

With tearful eyes I was passing the old man and was praying the Lord to give joy and happiness to all whether young or old.
