Sun Dried Tomato Cotton Candy

Some of the best chefs in the area take part in the celebration and serve tomato-inspired dishes. The public, as well as critics, vote for their favorite item. This year, the People?s Choice winner was Pazzo Restaurant in Petaluma for their Lobster Bisque with Heirloom Tomatoes. The Critic?s Choice went to John Ash & Co. in Santa Rosa, for their fun and daring Sun Dried Tomato Cotton Candy. Pictured above is Chef Jeffrey Madura with the cottony creation.

The childhood favorite, with a twist, had a taste that was very interesting...in a good way.
