- Located in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, Southeast Missouri State University hosts a series of private cheer camps in cooperation with Varsity Athletic Championships. These cheer camps cater to participants of all skill levels and are typically held in oneweek sessions during June and July at Southeast Missouri State University's River Campus. Camp activities include instruction on choreography, jumps, cheers and stunts, with a great deal of emphasis placed on the importance of teamwork.
- Located in Manchester, Missouri, Cheer Legendz is the largest privately owned cheer and dance instruction organization in the state. Cheer Legendz operates out of a 18,000 square foot facility and hosts a variety of private cheer camps each year. Camps are open to participants of all skill levels and instruction is concentrated in the fields of competitive cheerleading, tumbling and hip-hop dance. Cheer Legendz instructs cheerleaders from age 5 through college age and advanced registration is required.
- The Missouri Athletic Club, with locations in St. Louis and Town and Country, Missouri, hosts a series of cheerleading camps each year in cooperation with Elite Cheer. The camps are traditionally held each summer in June, July and August and are open to cheerleaders of all skill levels. Each weeklong camp culminates in a dance and cheer recital held at the facility where participants can show off the skills they have acquired during training. All cheer camps are open to participants ages 5 and older.
- The Universal Cheerleaders Association holds resort-based cheerleading camps in Missouri each year. These four-day camps are held at a variety of resorts throughout the state for high-school age participants and are typically held in mid-July each year. All camps are chaperoned and participants are responsible for the cost of their room and meals. Cheer camp consists of instruction in jumps, pyramid building, cheers and choreography, and tumbling and activities are organized nightly to encourage squad bonding and teamwork.
